Chef Matt Hannon, Chef de Cuisine at Ashten’s Restaurant in Southern Pines is our Featured Chef for this evening.
Long known for their commitment to the local farmer, Ashten’s has been a leader in the Farm-2-Table movement which is just one of the reasons we’ve selected Chef Matt. His culinary creativity and skills have made him a finalist in several state wide culinary competitions including the 2018 NCRLA Chef Showdown, NC’s Cooking for a Classic and Got to be NC Dining Series. Chef Matt is sure to deliver an extraordinary dinner on the farm that you won’t soon forget.
Join us for an evening of home-made, home-grown goodness! We’re harvesting the fall’s finest crops and lovingly preparing them into a 4-course dinner for you to savor.

Glass in hand with a signature cocktail starter and some tiny bites, stroll through the orchards and the vineyard, guided by 3rd generation farmer Jonathan Godfrey. Hear how he and his family came to create Olde Carthage Farms, the only organic berry farm and vineyard in Moore County.
Slowly make your way back to the long community tables near the pond and historic log cabin where the candles and wine glasses glimmer in the late evening sun. Then take a deep breath and relax as you settle into a lovely four-course meal expertly prepared by our multiple chefs. This year we have invited a different chef to prepare every course. Stay tuned as we feature each chef’s profile and what they will be creating for their portion of the dinner. This special event is sure to satisfy your soul and your tastebuds.

Olde Carthage Farms is easy to find.
From Pinehurst: Take Hwy 15/501 North from the traffic circle in Pinehurst. Follow the highway as it turns east (right) past the “Big White Horse” sculpture. The farm is approximately 2 miles from this point and about 1/2 mile east of junction 24/27. It will be well marked with signs that say Muscadine Grapes & Farm Dinner!
From Pittsboro: Take Hwy 15 South towards Carthage. You will merge onto US Hwy 1 South for a few miles. Continue on Hwy 15 towards Carthage. As you leave Hwy 1, the farm will be approximately 8 miles on your right. It will be well marked with signs that say Muscadine Grapes & Farm Dinner!
